A new meeting place for communication and promotion agencies: Agency Brands Dating

At the 10th edition, we launched a new meeting event dedicated to agencies specializing in communication, promotion, marketing, PR etc. It was something quite different to the Pitching Sessions: the licensors exclusively adapted their property presentations in a 10-minute bid to win over the agencies.
 

In total, nearly 40 account managers participated in the event, attending presentations by: Nickelodeon Consumer Products, Nelvana, Mediatoon Licensing, Les éditions Albert René, TF1  Licences, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and Glénat.

 

The agencies have since shown their appreciation for the pace of the occasion:

The Pitching Sessions are private presentations for select audiences, during which exhibitors present their forthcoming market strategies.

The Cocktail concluded with the celebration of One-piece’s 10-year anniversary. Luffy, the show’s main hero, blew out the candles on the birthday cake with the help of some special guests: a group of Hip-Hop dancers!

 

For the second consecutive year, the Fédération Française des Droits Dérivés (F2D2) organized “les Trophées des Marques” at the forum.

Eight categories identified the best in the business. The big winners are:

 

• Best Art & Design License SPACE INVADERS, property managed by CPLG

• Best Celebrity License ROLLING STONES, managed by UNIVERSAL MUSIC

• Best Corporate Brand License MOULIN ROUGE, property managed by MOULIN ROUGE

• Best Entertainment License STAR WARS, property managed by TLC

• Best Sport License FFF, property managed by CPLG

• Best Innovative Product LAPINS CRÉTINS-MECCANO, property managed by CPLG

• Best Communication/Promotion OASIS, property managed by TLC

• Best License of the Year MONSTER HIGH, property managed by MATTEL  

 

 

 

The Cocktail began with a signing session by one of the key figures from Top Chef Season 3: Norbert Tarayre!

 

The visitors were also able to try out Ubisoft’s latest video game: Rayman Legends – forecasted release September 2013.
